When completing the enquiry form, it’s always helpful for us to have as much information as possible, including reference images of the tattoo you would like, so feel free to send these when you submit your enquiry.
Once we’ve established the right artist for your tattoo design, we may recommend a free, no-obligation consultation with an artist. Your consultation is often in the studio but can be done over the phone or over email if you are unable to get to the studio.
Consultations usually last around 15 minutes and are a great opportunity for you and the artist to collaborate on your ideas, so bring some reference images and an open mind.
From your discussion, the artist will provide you with an idea of how long your tattoo is likely to take and our tattoo consultants will give you a price estimate and will let you know the artist’s availability. If you are happy to go ahead with your booking, we will require a non-refundable chair rental fee to secure your session, which will be deducted from the final price of your tattoo. The chair rental fee amount will depend on how long the session is and which artist you are booking with. The chair rental fee is used to secure the date in your requested artist’s calendar. If you need to go away and think about it, that is absolutely fine – no rush.
We also offer interest-free finance. If this option appeals to you, you can discuss this with your tattoo consultant after your consultation and they will provide you with the various options available – see our finance page here for further details on how this works.
You will receive email and text reminders about your upcoming appointment. If you are no longer able to attend or need to reschedule, don’t worry; we understand that things come up. We ask that you contact the studio as soon as you know you are unable to make your appointment, and our tattoo consultants will look to reschedule your appointment. At this point, you may be asked to pay another chair rental fee to secure your new appointment. In the event of artist illness, your fee will be applied to the earliest available and mutually convenient date.
On the day of your appointment, make sure you eat and drink well before you arrive at the studio, feel free to bring snacks with you as well. To ensure you have the most comfortable experience at our studios, we have put together some tips for first-time clients, read them here.
