Meet Giovanna – a Brazilian tattoo artist who began her career in 2017. Initially pursuing graphic design, she found her true passion in tattooing during her studies. Giovanna specialises in ornamental and blackwork tattoos, emphasising the uniqueness of each individual. Dedicated to authenticity, she crafts exclusive pieces for every client. Beyond her artistry, Giovanna loves to travel the world, combining her passion for tattooing with an exploration of diverse cultures.

Where are you from? I’m from São Paulo, Brazil
How long have you been tattooing? I started tattooing in 2017 and have been doing it for over 7 years
What inspired you to become a tattoo artist? Since I was 5 years old, I have always loved to draw. This is why I chose design at university, but in the middle of graduation I started tattooing and I knew that was what I wanted to do.
What is your background? I graduated in Graphic Design university.
What style do you specialise in? I specialise in blackwork and mainly ornamental.
What do you like to do in your spare time? In my spare time I like to draw, go to parks, watch movies and do embroidery
What’s your favourite kind of tattoo to do? I love medium - big tattoos, blackwork or ornamental mixing different needles (bold and fineline)
What’s the coolest tattoo you’ve done? The coolest tattoos I guess are the 2 ornamental full back pieces that I’ve done.
