Where are you from?
I’m from Azerbaijan.
How long have you been tattooing?
I first started tattooing in 2015 for a few months, but due to some unexpected life events, I had to take a break. In 2018, I came back to it with full focus and started working professionally as a tattoo artist.
What inspired you to become a tattoo artist?
My interest in tattoos started really young – my grandpa had some ink, and I used to draw copies of his tattoos on myself with a pen as a kid. I’ve been drawing ever since I can remember.
What is your background?
I actually applied to university four times, but I never ended up studying, art was always pulling me in a different direction.
What style do you specialise in?
I specialise in cover-up tattoos and colour realism. I really enjoy the challenge of transforming old or unwanted tattoos into something beautiful, and I love working with bold colour and depth.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
Outside of tattooing, I enjoy drawing, creating, photography and videography, and I try to stay active by going to the gym.
What’s your favourite kind of tattoo to do?
My favourite kinds of tattoos to do are definitely cover-ups and colour realism, they let me be creative and technical at the same time.
What’s the coolest tattoo you’ve done?
The coolest tattoo I’ve ever done? That has to be The Golden Dildo on the wall. I did it at one of the biggest conventions in the world. It became one of the most talked-about and photographed tattoos of the event.
