Where are you from?
I’m from Venezuela
How long have you been tattooing?
I've been tattooing professionally maybe 12 years but my first time touching a machine was approximately 16 years ago.
What inspired you to become a tattoo artist?
I started as a graffiti artist and at the time, the internet access in my country was a little complicated and the graffiti magazines were almost impossible to get but on the other hand the tattoo ones were easier to access. I was inspired by the tattoos I saw. Over the years a friend that did graffiti told me bro I'm going to buy a tattoo machine and it was instantaneous, I told him I wanted one too and it all started shortly after that, around 2008-2009.
What it’s your background?
My background in the world of art was empirical, but nevertheless, during all these years I attended many seminars on oil painting, design and important tattoo artists in the region.
What style do you specialise in?
Honestly I love tattooing in colour but realism, surrealism and watercolour are my favourite styles
What do you like in your spare time?
In my free time I like to disconnect a little from tattooing. I like to read, paint in oils, I enjoy a good movie or TV series, and exercise is super important for me. I feel like cultivating a better person every day.
What’s your favourite kind of tattoo to do ?
Realistic styles and illustrative water colour designs are my favourite. I love how the stains can define a personal language in my drawings.
What the coolest tattoo you’ve done?
I did a fox for one of my clients, it was a really enjoyable project.
